 These images of spirits and ghosts are from a lost Spiritualist
archive of original glass plate photographs.
Most people would probably admit that this is a bizarre image. Its surreal quality I find intriguing particularly as the sitters look so stiff and bourgeois - one of the favourite targets for the surrealist artists and photographers. I have to admit that this image looks like a double exposure.
