These images of spirits and ghosts are from a lost Spiritualist archive of original glass plate photographs.

These paranormal photographs are intriguing and have an eerie feeling. In the days when photography was in its infancy and few people were used to seeing special effect these images must have been quite shocking. If cheating was involved it is still difficult to explain how the photographer produced these images..

The fact that the early photographers were working with cumbersome glass plates would have make it much harder to create fake images while all the time being under the watchful eyes of the circle sitters.

Could this be another example of a real paranormal photograph?
