These images of spirits and ghosts are from a lost Spiritualist
archive of original glass plate photographs of ghosts and
spirits. The history of some of these remarkable spirit
manifestations has been lost. We are please to hear from
anyone who may have additional information about these ghostly

and obtaining permission to use these spirits images.
HAUNTED CHURCH
"This is taken from a series of photographs taken
by a professional photographer. The vicar was so proud of
his new screen in the Church that he wanted it professionally
photographed. This was in the 1930s. The spirit extra (top
left hand corner) is the previous vicar's son who had died
in World War 1. This is a fascinating photograph and many
people can make out numerous faces but the only identified
spirit extra is the young man whose features are extremely
