Can the Future be Predicted?
Many people want to ask questions about their future but can a psychic really predict what’s going to happen? Some say that destiny is set and we cannot alter it whereas others believe that because we all have free will then the future is not determined.
Okay you are about to call one of our psychics and ask “Can you predict my future?” Naturally we all think we would love to know what the future has in stall and in particular would like to know whether our fate is a happy one of not. Indeed since ancient time people have consulted oracles and have ask seers to look into the times ahead and make predictions about our Fates.
The most famous oracle was perhaps the Oracle of Delphi from the time of the ancient Greeks. Delphi was revered throughout the Greek world and it’s seers would make predictions and consult with visitors from all over the ancient world who had come to ask about their futures. The priestesses of the oracle at Delphi were known as the Pythia and these seers would breathe in the hallucinogenic volcanic vapours rising from beneath the Temple and have enigmatic visions of the future that were then interpreted by the priests.
Asking About The Future
Fortune telling has come a long way since ancient times. Now you can ask about your future simply by making a telephone call to one of our psychic phone readers. But the questions we ask are much the same: “Will I be successful in my career?” “Will I have a happy marriage?” “Will my boyfriend come back?”…. and so on. You may ask about your future but can a psychic really see into time and know what will actually happen?
Scientific studies in precognition, or trying to predict the outcome of future events, are rare, but a small number of quantum physicists and parapsychologists are doing experiments that suggest that the future may be predictable.
ADVICE ABOUT THE FUTURE AND ASKING QUESTIONS ABOUT THE FUTURE
When people call a psychic it is mainly because they are looking for guidance about the future. If they are honest then most sitters would admit that they DO NOT wish to know their future, or have it predicted – that future could be a very sad future and nobody wants to hear that!!!! The truth is they want to be told that everything is going to work out they way they wish! Your own intuitive insights about your future may be influenced by the same hopes and fears.
Good psychic practice is not to predict the future but instead to advise you about the best course to take in order to come to the most satisfactory conclusion.
If a psychic makes a prediction to someone they wield a huge power. Even if you went to some crumby psychic and you know that the person making the prediction is a charlatan the prediction may still worry you. This is because predictions have a similar power to superstition- we don’t believe them but in the back of our mind something says “….. but what if it is true?” In this way we are disempowered by our worries and may even cause bad things to happen to us out of shear fright!!!!
This is why our psychics prefer to guide rather than predict. Predictions about money, health and relationships may lead to feelings of fear of what will happen and disappointment when things do not work out as forecast. So really you’d be better not asking the questions about your future but rather focus on the best path to take in the circumstances.
We believe that our role is to guide a person and help them to make the best decisions to bring good fortune into their lives. We psychics are like the map-reader. We see the lie of the land and from this we give advice about the best thing to do. We do not say what will happen but what the person can do to make the best choices.
